The XEEN CF (Carbon Fiber) series is the evolution of the original XEEN line. These lenses are designed to be much lighter and more compact, specifically targeting filmmakers using gimbals, drones, and modern lightweight cinema cameras.

Key Technical Features

• Carbon Fiber Construction: By using carbon fiber in the lens barrel, Samyang significantly reduced the weight while maintaining high durability and a premium aesthetic.
• Ultra-Lightweight: Most lenses in this set weigh between 0.9kg and 1.1kg (approx. 2.0 to 2.4 lbs), making them some of the lightest full-frame cine primes available.
• 8K Ready Optics: The glass is designed to resolve up to 8K resolution, featuring Samyang's X-Coating technology to control internal reflections and ghosting.
• Luminous Markings: The focus and aperture markings are painted with glow-in-the-dark (phosphorescent) paint, which is extremely helpful for ACs (Assistant Camera) working in low-light environments.
• Unified Design:
  • Front Diameter: Consistent 95mm across the set.
  • Gear Positions: Focus and iris gears are in the same physical location for fast lens swaps.
  • Focus Throw:  of rotation for precise manual pulling.
